Mrs. Leola Brown, 96, died Saturday, July 27, 2002.
Mrs. Brown was a native of Castleberry, long time resident of Flomaton and attended Edward Point Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by three children, C. D. Hicks, J. C. Hicks and Annie Lois Andrews.
Mrs. Brown is survived by four sons, George Hicks Jr., James Hicks and his wife, Jannie Lou, of Tampa, Fla., Bennie Hicks of New York and Jimmy Hicks of Flomaton; special great-granddaughter, Linda Hicks of Tampa; 20 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, August 3 at noon at Edward Point Christian Church with the Rev. Lamar Randall officiating.
Robinson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
