The smell of fine leather and the shine of metallic paints will be the focus of an event planned for May 1 at the Wind Creek Casino and Hotel.
Chris Tipton, director of marketing for Wind Creek, said this year’s car show is gearing up to be a big draw for the community.
Tipton said those who register their vehicles for the show will be up for awards in several categories.
Winners of the Top GM, Top Mopar, Top Ford, Top Import, Best Paint, Best Interior and Best Engine will each receive a $200 cash prize, Tipton said.
Awards will be announced at 3 p.m. at the center bar inside Wind Creek Casino, Tipton said.
Cars can begin entering the show area as early as Friday evening before the event.
The event area will be in the east parking lot of the casino.
A $20 entry fee is required when registering the vehicle, Tipton said. That fee will allow registrants an opportunity to have a little fun and enjoy a full meal.
Car who entrants, as well as other players at the Wind Creek Casino, will have an opportunity to take home a grand prize giveaway at the end of the evening.
Tipton said players will receive one entry into the drawing for every 50 points earned on their players card.
