Mary Ellis

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Mary Ellis, 64, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 13, 2011.

Mary accepted Christ at an early age. She attended Escambia County Training School in Atmore. Years later, she married John P. Wiggins Sr. where they resided to Cleveland, Ohio in 1968. They later divorced in 1982 where she married Ray Ellis on July 17, 1990, shortly after she relocated to Flagstaff, Ariz.

Her parents, Bettie and Alex Etheridge; two sisters, Dora Marshall and Bettie Etheridge; one brother, Phelix Etheridge; one son, De’Ante Wiggins and one grandson, De’Angelo Wiggins, preceded her in death.

She leaves to mourn, her husband, Ray Ellis of Flagstaff, Ariz.; two daughters, Deborah Wiggins of Cleveland, Ohio and Linda Wiggins of Atmore; four brothers, Charlie (Peggie) Etheridge, Robert Etheridge and Tommie (Sheryl) Etheridge, all of Cleveland, Ohio and William (Jamie) Etheridge of Cincinnati, Ohio; four sisters, Willie Mae Thomas and Emma (Frank) Wilson of Cleveland, Ohio and Annie Mae (Harold) Brazzell and Louise Etheridge of Atmore; six grandchildren, Nathaniel, Eddie, Brittany, Kadiedre, Kadashae and De’Ante Jr. Wiggins; one great grandchild, Derihan Wiggins; a host nieces and nephews; one sister-in-law, Kelly Ellis of Cleveland, Ohio and last, but not least, one special friend, Vera Marshall.
