Jerry’s beats out Greenlawn 4-1

Atmore Babe Ruth baseball concluded its season on Saturday with three games being played at Tom Byrne Park.

In the final game of the season, Jerry’s Alignment Center defeated Greenlawn Home Care 4-1. The ended Greenlawn’s season on a two-game losing streak with those being the team’s only two losses.

Brett Helton, Daulton Tullis, Jerry Barlow and Tristan Montgomery all scored runs for Jerry’s, while Coby Smith scored Greenlawn’s lone run.

The midday matchup pitted Carney Lodge #549 against the Poarch Giants with Carney Lodge winning 9-3.

Brannon Freeman, Chasen Freeman, Blake McCall, Nate Smith, Ben Hubert and Randy Johnson scored Carney’s nine runs. Cole Jordan, Ricky Reed and Chris Fay scored the Giants’ runs.

Atmore Utilities Board opened up Saturday’s games with a 12-5 win over the Atmore Vision Center.

DeAndrez McCarthy, Tanner Smith, Coby Smith, Matthew Quimby, Perry Metzler, Austin Swartzendruber and Devante Dailey scored the Utilities Board’s runs. For Atmore Vision Center, Jon Jon Griffis, Luke Clavon, Newt Lambeth, Kainea Gumapack and Josh Fields scored.
