Margaret Catherine Shell and Mark Johnson Schimmel were married on July 23, 2011. The ceremony took place at First United Methodist Church in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with The Reverend Kerry Leeper officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Burton Shell of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Mollie is the grand-daughter of Howard and Nannette Shell and William and Margaret McKeown.

Mollie is a graduate of Hempfield High School and James Madison University with a degree in Marketing.  She is employed by The TJX Companies, Inc.  as a Merchandise Assistant.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Thompson Schimmel of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  Mark is the grand-son of the late Harrie and Elizabeth Schimmel and the late Harold and Shirley Hart. He is a graduate of Hempfield High School and The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Crime, Law, and Justice.  He is employed by Kroll Risk & Compliance Solutions as a Case Manager.

Laura Elizabeth Shell, sister of the bride, served as the Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were  Miss Allison Ayres, Miss Danielle Blackburn, Miss Meredith Byerly, Miss Katherine Dahlgren, Miss Amy Kraft, and Miss Lindsay Turner. The Junior Bridesmaid was Miss Emory Pittman.

Father of the groom, Edwin Thompson Schimmel, served as the Best Man.  Groomsmen were Mr. Michael Carriero, Mr. Stephen Cihocki, Mr. Brian Doub, Mr. Kyle McWilliams, Mr. Jason Risner, and Mr. Sam Shell.

A reception celebrating Mark and Mollie’s marriage was held following the ceremony at Lime Spring Farm, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
The couple spent their honeymoon on the island of St. Lucia. They  currently reside in New York, N.Y.
