An Atmore woman was taken into custody by agents with the 21st Judicial Task Force Friday after allegedly falsifying a prescription in order to gain access to higher strength Loratab pills.

DTF agent Scott Walden said he received a call around 5 p.m. from an anonymous source stating a female dropped off a suspicious prescription at Escambia Drug Store on South Main Street requesting the addition of Loratab 10 tablets, which the caller said doctors do not add to existing prescriptions, leading to the belief the prescription was altered.

Walden said a male subject was later detained after attempting to pick up the pills. After questioning the subject Walden was able to locate and arrest Aerial Johnson, 28. She was charged with attempting to commit a controlled substance crime.
