United Bank has announced the promotion of three employees this week.

Gwendolyn Bailey Braden has been promoted to chief operations officer.  Braden earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Management from the University of Mobile and is pursuing an Executive Masters of Business Administration from Auburn University.  She is a graduate of Alabama Banking School and presently serves as treasurer for Escambia County Society for Human Resource Management.

Nancy Everette Helton has been promoted to community affairs officer. Helton is a graduate of Troy University and Alabama Banking School and is president of Leadership Atmore Alumni, director of Friends of Education, Escambia County Board of Education Federal Programs Advisory Committee member, co-chair of South Alabama Asset Building Coalition, Atmore National Day of Prayer Committee, Escambia County High School Alumni Band and is a member of the Atmore Rotary Club.

Anne Dennis Hetzel has been promoted to human resources director. Hetzel earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing and Transportation from the University of South Alabama and is a graduate of Alabama Banking School, serving as class president.  She serves as treasurer of the Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce, president of Atmore Lions Club and program director with the Escambia County Society for Human Resource Management.
