Ground was broken Monday morning on the new Waffle House project at Rivercane.

A groundbreaking was held Monday morning officially signaling the beginning of construction on the Waffle House location at Rivercane. Waffle House officials said last week the new project should take around 70 days to complete construction, leaving the restaurant with a tentative opening date of mid October.
