Phyllis June Krehbiel Holdeman

Mrs. Phyllis June Krehbiel Holdeman, 84 of Bowersville, Ga., died Friday August 10, 2012 at Athens Regional Medical Center.

She was a homemaker. Mrs. Holdeman was born on Aug. 21, 1927, to the late Phillip and Fanny Stucky Krehbiel in Moundridge, Kan. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Atmore, where she was a former organist for 20 years and a former Sunday school teacher.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Holdeman; four brothers; and a sister.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Benner and husband, Doug of Bowersville, Ga., and Linda Diller and husband, Gary of Sedalia, Ky.; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Atmore, with the Rev. Arnold Hendrix officiating.
Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Memorial Gardens in Walnut Hill, Fla.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday evening, Aug. 15, 2012 at Johnson- Quimby Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of all arrangements.
