Howard

Tiara Monique Howard, 18, of 5 Stallworth Street in Atmore, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor petty theft in the second degree after store manager John Webb called the sheriff’s department to report the crime.

According to the arrest report, a store employee notified Webb that a woman was placing items in her purse. After confronting Howard at one of the store’s registers, she reportedly removed a box of chex mix from her purse and stated, “here, I will pay for them.” Webb then informed her he was calling the authorities and instructed her to remain where she was.

Howard was booked into the Escambia County jail in Pensacola, where she was later released on $500 bond.
