ATMORE – Darla Joy Landis, 12, of Atmore entered into her eternal home on Aug. 24, 2012, in Birmingham, after succumbing to complications from surgeries to correct a life-long seizure disorder.

Darla was born in Atmore on Sept. 17, 1999.

Survivors include her parents David R. and Deborah A. Landis; sister, Diana M.; brothers David R. Jr., and Darren M; grandparents Ray & Celia Landis of  Souderton, Pa. and David and Ruth Ann Kulp, Pottstown, Pa.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 2012 at Grace Fellowship. Interment will follow in Freemanville Community Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012 at Grace Fellowship.

Darla’s family is grateful for the love and concern shown towards Darla by their church and ministry families at Grace Fellowship and We Care Program as well as the entire Atmore community.  She will be greatly missed.
