URIAH – James Hubert Hayles, 66 of Uriah, passed away, Friday Aug. 24, 2012 in Mobile.

He was retired from Quincy Compressor. He was born in Little River on July 19, 1946 to the late Eubie and Doris Jeter Hayles.  He Gratuated from J.U. Blacksher in 1966.

His Parents and a granddaughter, Kaitlyn Marie Hiebert preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Ward Hayles of Uriah; one son, James Wesley (Carolyn) Hayles of Atmore; one daughter, Sandra (Jason) Hiebert of Atmore; one brother, Jerry (Shelby) Hayles of Uriah; four grandchildren, Justin Hiebert, John Wesley Hiebert, Bailey Hayles and Sawyer Hayles.

Graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Monday Aug. 27, 2012 in Mineola Cemetery with the Rev. Tony McMillian officiating. Interment followed in Mineola Cemetery. Family received friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Sunday evening, Aug. 26, 2012 at Johnson – Quimby Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers were Jason Hiebert, Justin Hiebert, John Wesley Hiebert, Mike Davis, Hurley Rider and David Hudson.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc was in charge of all arrangements.
