Stomp the Yard draws a crowd

Kids attending this year’s Stomp the Yard event at Houston Avery Park got to know Ajax, a member of the Escambia County Sheriff’s Department’s canine unit.
The sixth annual Stomp the Yard event, coordinated by Dr. Bernard Bishop Ministries and aimed at unifying the Atmore community, drew a crowd Saturday at Houston Avery Park.
Those in attendance were treated to food vendors, booths and speakers from fields ranging from law enforcement to health care.
