ATMORE – Mr. Narvie Lee “Cheek” Riley, Jr., 65, of Atmore transitioned into eternal rest on Oct. 6, 2012, at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Fla.

He was a native of Atmore and a graduate of the Escambia County Training School in 1965. He had been employed with Southland and Masland Carpet.

His father, Narvie Lee Riley, preceded him in death.

Those left to mourn his passing are three daughters, LaBronda Roley of Columbus, Ga. Tangia Riley and Sonjia (Rocky) Roberts of Phenix City; one son, Demetri Riley of Panama City, Fla.; his mother, Rosa Wallace of Atmore; three sisters, Rosa (Waman) Davis of Atmore, Callie (Ronnie) Small and April Riley of Wauchula, Fla.; six brothers, Bobby (Mary) Riley, Sammy (Mary) Riley, Bishop Dashwood (Nancy) Riley and Nelson Riley, all of Atmore and Jimmy Riley and Michael (Annie Dale) Riley of Wachula, Fla.; and six grandchildren.

Celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. today, Oct. 13, 2012, at the Faith Tabernacle Holiness Church in Freemanville with Bishop

Dashwood Riley, eulogist, and Elder Edgar McCarthy, host pastor. Inhumation will be held in Stallworth Cemetery.

Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC. of Atmore will be directing.
