Update: Two suspects arrested for Tuesday murder
Escambia County (Fla.) Sheriff’s Department officials made two arrests today involving suspects in yesterday’s shooting at the O’Yes Lotto store in Davisville, Fla., just south of Atmore. The two suspects, Malcolm Troy McGhee and Brent Dewayne Lambeth, are being charged with the murder of storeowner Thomas Gerald Kroll.

Sheriff’s Department officials said during the attempted robbery, gunfire was exchanged and Kroll was killed. Both suspects fled the scene on foot wearing black ski masks. Following an extensive manhunt, McGhee was arrested this morning in Escambia County, Ala. and is currently awaiting extradition to Escambia County, Fla.
Lambeth was arrested by Sheriff’s Department investigators, personnel from the U.S. Marshals Task Force, Century Correctional Institute K-9 team, Atmore Police Department and Escambia County, Ala. investigators this afternoon in a wooded area on Sandy Hollow Lane in Century, Fla. He is being held at the Escambia County Jail under no bond.
