ATMORE – Edward Daniel Kilpatrick White was born Aug. 2, 1979, to Howard and Minnie Jones. As a child he loved to make his family laugh. He was a child that loved to hug, to love on and to kiss the people that he loved. As an adult he still had a lot of laughter and love in him. Edward was a graduate of Escambia County High School class of 1998.

His grandparents, the Rev. Edward and Minnie Womack; grandfather, Howard Jones Sr.; great grandmother, Emma Jones; nieces, Genesis and Gewel Craft and a cousin, Kent Moore Jr. preceded him in death.

He will forever be remembered by wife, Ursha McDonald-White of Brewton; parents, Howard and Minnie Jones of Atmore; grandmother, Mary (Jimmie) Arnold of Atmore; one son, She’Marion Latrell Matthews of Bay Minette; three step daughters, Jazmine McDonald, Jamiyah McDonald and JaNaszia McDonald, all of Brewton;  sisters, Tamika (Patrick) Craft, Stephanie (Donovan) Mosley, Tara (Jay) Harris, Carjetta (Cary) Flavors, all of Atmore; two sister-in-laws, Kharda (Antonio) Hale and Jenifer McDonald, both of Brewton; brothers, Nekos (Jalanda) Jones of Kileen, Texas, DeAntonio Jones and Fredrick (Kenta) White of Atmore; nieces, Khiazhia Ka’Manei, Sa’Riyah, Aiyannam Aaniyah, Gabrielle, Zakiah, Nevaeh and Aniya; nephews, Autajajadrick, Amaree, Donovan, Zykel, Zechariah, JaQuenton, Tyrese, Khanye, DyQwan, Devon and DaaGaryn; great uncles, Johnny (Gloria) Jones of Atmore, James (Evelyn) Harvell of Cleveland, Ohio, Crimpton (Inez) Singleton of Eutah; uncles, Otis (Patricia) James of Atmore, Michael (Nanette) Jones of White Plain, Minn, Vincent (Kathy) Jones of Atlanta, Ga., Keith (Shasta) Powell and Rico Brooks, of Atmore.; great aunts, Bertha Redmond of Atmor, Jeraldine McCants, of Detroit, Mich., Barbara (Kenneth) Moore of Coco Beach, Fla., Vivian (Tom) Shanklin of Auroa, Ill. and Shirley Turner of San Francisco, Calif.; aunts, Gwendolyn Brown and Theresa Jones of Atlanta, Ga., Rita (Reginald) Williams of Atmore, Tawaka Crowley of Augusta, Ga. and Lytwaive (Ben) Hutchinson; cherished friends, Anthony Harvell, Raphiel Lee, Kwasi Dawson, Craig Frye, Wiley Taite and Javaris Williams and a host of cousins, friends and class members of 1998.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, from Empowerment Tabernacle Christian Center with Pastor Haskew, eulogist, and Pastor Darrell North officiating. Interment will be held in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, from the chapel of Mayberry Funeral Home.
