Congratulations are in order for the South Alabama Rays 14 and under travel ball team for success in their fall 2012 season.

The team consists of 11 players: Rashaan Flavors, Devon Robinson, LaDarian Johnson,Brandon Cummings,Gaetyn Thames, Eric Williams, Marlon Lee Jr., Nytorious Cooler, Kevin Gumapac, Xan McGhee, Kainoa Gumapac;bat-boy Kendrick MobleyJr.;2coaches Marlon Lee Sr. and Tony Williams and assistance from Neremiah Cooler and Bob Gumapac.

The South  Alabama Rays played a total of four tournaments consisting of 14 games total this Fall season. The South Alabama Rays came in second place twice, third place once, and seventh place once.

The team finished the season with a 6-8 record, losing four of those games by one point and five of their losses were out of division.

“Through it all I can see my team getting better and better,” coach Lee wrote in a statement. “This group of kids has given a lot of time and dedication to this program. I would like to thank the players and their parents for their cooperation and hard work.”
