A two-car collision slowed traffic on Nashville Avenue Wednesday morning and sent two people to the hospital after a pick-up truck rear-ended another vehicle.

According to the accident report, at approximately 11 a.m., a Chevy Silverado driven by 19-year-old Willson White, of Atmore, struck the rear end of a Dodge Ram driven by 38-year-old DaLarrians Poole, of Atmore, as the truck sat at a traffic light at the Presley Street intersection.

Both men were transported to Atmore Community Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained during the accident.
