ATMORE – A memorial service for Mr. Joe’L Crenshaw, 54, of Atmore was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at Lighthouse Apostolic Holiness Church in Atmore with Apostle Robert Grissett, pastor, officiating.

He lived in Philadelphia before returning back to Atmore three months ago. He attended Escambia County High School and worked in construction.

A son, Derek Cooper; his parents, Johnny Crenshaw Sr. and Mary Crenshaw Evens; and a sister Mary Ann Martin preceded him in death.

Survivors include one daughter, La Toria Cooper of Philadelphia; three sons, Joe Rabb of Montgomery, Mark Cooper and Erik Cooper, both of Philadelphia; six sisters, Gennie Lewis, Daisy Crenshaw, Elizabeth Crenshaw, Deborah Turner, Kimberly Crenshaw and Jemethia Ballard, all of Atmore; six brothers, Roosevelt Crenshaw of Philadelphia, Pa., Andrew Crenshaw, Michael Crenshaw, Danny Crenshaw and Timothy Crenshaw, all of Atmore.

Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC. of Atmore was in charge of services.
