ECHS beats Clarke County for area title

The Escambia County High School Blue Devils won the area tournament Monday night with a 65-53 win over Clarke County. The Devils trailed 31-26 at halftime, but used a strong second half to break the game open. Desmond Williams led the team in scoring with 23 points, followed by Tyrell Ford, who added 17.
