The Escambia County High School Blue Devils’ baseball team hit their way to a split Tuesday over J.U. Blackshear.

The Blue Devils lost the first game 20-10, but won the second game 17-14 to move to 2-3 on the year.

“We have bats and we can hit, but it’s not to the point where it’s consistent yet,” said Coach Gavin King. “When we get to the point where it’s happening consistently we’ll have a better chance to win.”
