The Atmore Rotary Club is awarding two scholarships up to $2,000 per scholarship to two 2013 high school graduates with a 2.5 or higher GPA who enroll as a full-time student in a college program for the 2013 – 2014 academic year (fall and spring semesters).  The scholarships are awarded on the basis of both merit and need.

Scholarship application packets are available at local high schools; students should contact their high school counselor for an application.  All applications must be completed and postmarked by April 12, 2013, and must be returned with statement of finances, essay, official high school transcript and two teacher recommendations.  The scholarship winners will be announced at the Atmore Rotary Club’s Academic All Star reception scheduled to take place in May.
