BAY MINETTE – Mr. Phillip Wayne Richardson, 53, of Bay Minette, died Wed. March 6, 2013, at Mobile Infirmary.

He was a native of Evergreen and had lived in Atlanta before moving back to Bay Minette.  He was a 1978 graduate of Lyeffion High School in Evergreen. He served in the U. S. Army from 1978 to 1987. He worked as a forklift operator for Standard Furniture for over 20 years.

Those left to cherish his memories are his mother, Sarah Steans of Bay Minette; one daughter, Kendra S. Richardson of Hinesville, Ga.; two sons, Phillip W. Richardson, Jr. of Fayetteville, N.C. and Zachary Richardson of Jessup, Ga.; three sisters, Barbara (Floyd) Jones and Lesa Jones of Bay Minette and Darlene (Jessie) Riggs of Mobile; two brothers, Willie F. Richardson of Bay Minette and Sgt. Sean (Kim) Steans of Germany and four grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today, March 16, 2013, at Bay Minette COGIC with Elder James Starks, pastor, officiating. Inhumation will be in the Mutual Aid Cemetery in Bay Minette with Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC directing.
