Northview takes second in meet

The Northview boys’ and girls’ track teams both finished second in the Chiefs’ only home meet this year.

Pensacola Christian Academy took first in both boys’ and girls’ action, while J.U. Blacksher finished third.

“They worked really hard for second place,” said coach Natalie Nall. “PCA is really strong in numbers and we worked them really hard in the relays.”

The Northview girls finished first in the 4X100-meter relay and the 4X400-meter relay. The boys finished first in the 4X400-meter relay as well.

On the girls side Tierra Floyd finished first in the 100-meter hurdles  and Angelique Brown finished second in the 300 hurdles. Zacarra Davis took first in the 400 hurdles and Moriah McGahan took second in the 800 hurdles.

Floyd took first in the girls’ high jump as well as the triple jump.

On the boys side, Neiko Robinson finished first in the 100-meter and 200-meter hurdles, while Holden Moore finished  second in the 200 hurdles. Jaron finished first in the triple jump and Grice finished second in the discus. Stetson Nash finished first in the shot put.
