The Atmore Christian School Rams’ baseball team is headed to Loxley Municipal Park Friday for the Panhandle Christian Conference Final Four.

The Rams earned a regular season split with western division foe Central Christian before losing in a playoff to the Saints to drop to the second seed.

That seeding means ACS will take on Emmanuel Christian, the No. 1-seed in the east division at 5 p.m.

“I don’t know much about them,” said ACS coach Anthony Swartzendruber. “I know they’ve had success within the conference, but I don’t know how they’ve done outside of the conference.”

Swartzendruber said the young team of Rams has accomplished what he had hoped it would at the beginning of the year, which was improve from game to game.
