If the phrase “git-r-done” makes you chuckle, Wind Creek Casino and Hotel is the place to be Saturday, Aug. 3 when comedian Larry the Cable Guy will take the stage with his own unique style of back-woods comedy.

The Grammy-nominated Cable Guy will headline a show featuring special guest Reno Collier, beginning at 8 p.m.

Larry is a multi-platinum recording artist, best-selling artist and has been No. 1 on the Billboard charts with a 2005 Comedy Artist of the Year and Comedy Album of the Year Billboard Award.

Larry the Cable Guy rose to fame as a member of the immensely-popular “Blue Collar Comedy Tour,” also featuring comedians Ron White, Bill Engvall and Jeff Foxworthy.

Following his stint with Blue Collar, Larry was involved with a Blue Collar television show, Comedy Central movie, two sequels, and the rest “is history,” according to a release from Wind Creek.

“Larry was able to ‘Git-R-Done’ with multiple albums, awards, and tours. Larry has found his way to Atmore to make the amphitheatre at Wind Creek roar with laughter.”

According to information from Wind Creek Public Relations Manager Lynn Woodcock,

“Larry is not just a funny man, but a philanthropist as well. Larry established a non-profit

organization, ‘The Git-R-Done Foundation’ in 2009.  The organization’s focus is on children and veteran’s causes.”

Tickets for Larry the Cable Guy’s August performance at Wind Creek can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com and Essentials Sundry Shoppe inside Wind Creek Casino and Hotel.  Prices are $75/$40/$30.
