The 2013 schedule for the defending Florida High School Athletic Association 1A champion Northview Chiefs has been released.

The Chiefs, who finished 11-3 last year with a 42-12 win over Trenton High School, opens their season at home Friday, Aug. 23 against Bay High School.

They follow that up with another home game against Bozeman on Aug. 31 before traveling to Marianna on Sept. 6 and Chipley the next week.

The Chiefs have an open date on Sept. 20 before hosting Choctawhatchee the next week. They then travel to Jay on Oct. 4 before another open date the next week.

Freeport travels to Bratt for a game on Oct. 18 with travel to Walton on the schedule for the Chiefs the next week.

Nov. 1 brings in Baker before the Chiefs take a road trip to Blountston.
