Atmore police officers are on the lookout for the suspect or suspects responsible for a smash-and-grab robbery Monday night at Southern Computer on Nashville Avenue, according to police.

Paige Howell, an agent with the 21st Judicial Drug Task Force, said an unknown person or persons used a car jack to smash a large window on the front side of the store just after 10 p.m. Monday and “grabbed the first computer they saw.”

Howell said the jack was left behind and has been confiscated by police in order to obtain fingerprints.
