ATMORE – Mary Nell Meitzler, 79, of Atmore passed away Monday August 12  in Century, Fla.

She was retired as a Seamstress for 33 years with Vanity Fair Mills, born in Monroe County on Jan. 9, 1935 to the late Luther Bryant and Ollie Mae Hayles Stafford. She was a Member of Atmore Church of God.

Her husband, Ralph Meitzler preceded her in death.

Survivors are, two sons,  Larry (Pat) Meitzler of Walnut Hill, Fla. and  Ellis “Bubba” (Angie) Meitzler of Canoe; one sister, Jewell Mae Melvin of Atmore and two grandsons, Michael Meitzler and John Victor.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug.15,  2013 from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bryars officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today, Aug.14, 2013 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
