Consider becoming a WSD ‘Patron’

Published 5:38 pm Tuesday, October 1, 2013

We encourage everyone to consider becoming a “Patron of the Arts” for Williams Station Day.

A Patron of the Arts commits to spend $100 with the artists and crafters who will be showing their wares during the annual festival, which is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 26, in downtown Atmore.

Patrons play a large role in the success of the festival, because they help support the many talented artists who are located in our area. They also help support the Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce, which is sponsoring the festival that is aimed at improving our community.

Those who join the Patrons program and commit to spend $100 will receive “scrip” from the chamber, which they can then spend at the arts and crafts vendors’ booths. In addition, they will receive an invitation to a Patrons’ Party, which will be Friday, Oct. 25.

For more information, please call or email the chamber at (251) 368-3305, swilli@frontiernet.net or atmoreal@frontiernet.net.

Those interested can also mail a check, made payable to “Patron of the Arts,” to the Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce, 501 S. Pensacola Ave., Suite A, Atmore, AL 36502.
