YMCA names new CEO

Huxford native Paul Chason is the new CEO of the Atmore YMCA.
Chason, a retired U.S. Navy Sr. Petty Officer and Huxford native, said he took the job because it was a good opportunity.
“Our youth is our future and we should be able to provide something for them to do in the community,” he said. “I like challenges and I think it’s going to be fun.”
The 56-year-old has spent time coaching in YMCA T-ball and soccer leagues.
