Here is the latest update from Escambia County Emergency Management Director David Adams:

“Tropical Storm Karen has continued to weaken and shows signs of further weakening.  The track still takes the storm over our area on Sunday and should be cleared out by Monday morning.  The forecast now shows rainfall in the 1 to 2 inch range. The risk for flash flooding, high winds, or tornadoes is only slight.  This can change so please continue to monitor this system for any potential risks.”
