Cereal and Karen Daniel of Atmore would like to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Chelsea Elizabeth Daniel, to James Matthew George, the son of James and Kay George of New Market, Ala.

The bride elect’s maternal grandparents are George and the late Elizabeth Caylor of Atmore and the paternal grandparents are Cecil and Katie Daniel of Atmore.

The groom-elect’s maternal grandparents are Arlene and the late Joe Dickey of Huntsville and the paternal grandparents are Edith and the late Alva George of Scottsboro, Alabama.

Daniel graduated from Escambia County High School in 2006 with honors. In 2012, she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a minor in chemistry at the University of North Alabama. In 2012, she completed her Master of Science degree in environmental toxicology from the University of South Alabama. She is employed with Bradford High School in Starke, Fla., as a chemistry teacher.

Matthew graduated from Hazel Green High School in 2005. In 2012, he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in English at the University of North Alabama in Florence. He is employed with Bradford High School in Starke, Fla., as an English teacher.

The wedding will be held at 3 p.m. Oct. 19, 2013, at The Huntsville Botanical Gardens.
