County resident picked for reality show

Flomaton resident Jacob Lambert has been cast on the reality show “Sweet Home Alabama,” whose fourth season will debut on CMT on Nov. 15.

Lambert, 23, is a firefighter and rescue diver, according to a press release from CMT.

He is one of the 11 “country bachelors” who will compete with 11 “city bachelors” for the affections of Kelsey Smith, a Shelton State Community College student from Tuscaloosa.

The show is filmed in Fairhope, with contestants living together in a house. The 10-episode season begins at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, on CMT.

According to the press release, the “city” bachelors include:

Anthony Marks, 26 – Environmental activist/Political organizer from Los Angeles, Calif.
Chris Bachman, 29 – Photographer/Designer from New York, N.Y.
Danny Martinez, 25 – Student/Driver from Jersey City, N.J.
Eddie “Dash” Williams, 24 – Music artist from New York, N.Y.
Emilio Vitolo, 25 – Restaurateur from New York, N.Y.
Kyle Hendershot, 21 – Medical student from Columbus, Ohio
Nathan Kabanuck, 31 – Attorney from Sacramento, Calif.
Todd Smith, 22 – Bartender from Huntington Beach, Calif.
Travis Leonard, 27 – Nurse from Tarzana, Calif.
Tyler La Brie, 25 – Sales representative from Hermosa Beach, Calif.
