The Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion sponsor the street flags on various veterans’ holidays. A few months ago, I recommended that we allow individuals or businesses to help with flag maintenance. I am pleased to announce that Pepsi of Atmore made a nice donation to help with this project, on Monday, Oct. 14. Thanks to Dale Ash and Pepsi.
