Walnut Hill Baptist holds groundbreaking

Construction for a new family life center at Walnut Hill Baptist Church will begin next month.
Church leaders recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new building that will provide additional space for Sunday school as well as a full basketball court, kitchen, a stage and larger rooms for children and youth departments.
The Rev. Ted Bridges officiated the ceremony along with Contractor David Denham of D&D Construction and four representatives from United Bank including: Alex Jones, Ricky Smith, Kellie Ridgeway and Rachel Holland.
Church membership was represented by trustees Brett Ward, Curtis Amerson and Carl Deckard.
