Perdido Elementary/ Middle School recently announced Amy Hill as its Elementary Teacher of the Year, and Will Sellers as its Middle School Teacher of the Year.

Hill began her career at Perdido Elementary nine years ago as a kindergarten teacher. For the past five years, she has taught first grade. She is the wife of Joe Hill, and the mother of triplets: Myles, Maddie and Morgan.

Sellers has been a teacher in Baldwin County for 15 years. Prior to becoming a teacher, he was in the Army and Army Reserves. In addition to teaching middle school, Sellers has been a member of the band, Fat Lincoln, for the past four years. The band, made up of musicians from Mobile, performs throughout the Alabama and Mississippi Gulf coasts.

Both teachers say that the best part of being a teacher is the children.
