Open letter to the Atmore community:

This past weekend St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church once again held its annual Fall Festival and BBQ. We extend a big thank you to the community for your outstanding support of this event each year, especially this year as the support was overwhelming. In fact, it was to the point that we were overwhelmed in getting our delivery orders out and many were late. We sincerely apologize to those who were inconvenienced by this. Our planning and process need to be reviewed and we’re already working on that.

Your support means a great deal to us, since it provides needed funds to properly operate and support our small parish and also allow us to return a portion of the proceeds to a local charitable organization. We are extremely grateful for everything you do to support this annual fall event. Once again, thank you and may God abundantly bless all of you.
