The Escambia Academy Cougar football team, cheerleaders, dance line and supporters participated in a pep rally and bonfire Thursday evening on the school’s campus.

The Cougars travel to Monroeville to take on Monroe Academy Friday with a trip to the Alabama Independent Schools Association 3A championship on the line.

Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.
