A New York woman was killed Saturday morning on Interstate 65 in Escambia County, according to the Alabama State Troopers.

Linda H. Reed, 65, died when her 2003 Ford Explorer left the road and struck a tree, at approximately 11:55 a.m. on I-65, three miles south of Poarch.

No further information was immediately available, and the Alabama State Troopers continues to investigate the crash.
