GECA to hold benefit concert

The Greater Escambia Council for the Arts is presenting a special holiday concert Saturday, Dec. 28, at 7 p.m.

The concert will feature performers from past GECA shows, including John Mascaro, Jennifer Couch-Hollis, Ellen Johnson and Phil Johnson, as well as narration by Sharon Poulsen. The performers will be singing songs from more than 20 Broadway hit shows, including Oliver!, Annie, Les Miserables and The Man of La Mancha.

The concert is being held to raise money for further improvements to the Greater Escambia Center for the Arts, located at 100 S. Trammell St. A minimum donation of $10 is required.

Tickets will be sold only at the door and the box office will open at 6 p.m.
