The Escambia County High School Lady Blue Devils’ basketball team took down the W.S. Neal Lady Eagles 47-16 in the first game of the Escambia County Tournament.

Coach Janice Kidd said it was ECHS’ tenacity on the boards that made the difference in the game.

“Both teams looked pretty good,” she said. “We were just a little more impressive.”

JaQuanda Webster led the team with 15 points, while Nicole Johnson scored nine. Keshia Williams and Jade Adams scored eight each.
