Mandie Thompson Photography and the Atmore Area YMCA will be presenting photography classes starting in February. The basic class will start Monday, Feb. 10, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and will meet for four consecutive Mondays after that. The advanced class will start Thursday, Feb. 13, and will meet for six consecutive Thursdays after that. There will be two advanced classes — Class A will meet from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Class B will meet from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.

There is a $20 registration fee. Students will need a camera (DSLR preferred), notebook and pen. Spots are limited, and the nursery will be open for child care.
