The Escambia County High School varsity Blue Devils fell at T.R. Miller on Monday, losing 11-1 in five innings.

Malcolm Black and Gage White each had a single for the Blue Devils. D’Andrez McCarthy had one RBI.

Black took the loss on the mound, working four innings and allowing six hits and nine runs. He walked seven and struck out one.

McCarthy pitched the final inning, allowing two hits and two runs while walking one batter.

ECHS fell to 1-6 for the season. The Blue Devils will host Flomaton on Friday at 5:30 p.m.
