The third annual VFW Post 7016 Car and Truck Show has been postponed until Saturday, April 19, organizers said Friday.

The show had been originally scheduled for Saturday, with registration starting at 8 a.m., but organizers decided to postpone it due to the threat of rain.

As of Friday morning, the Atmore VFW Post 7016 Ladies Auxiliary “welcome home ceremony” for Vietnam War veterans is still scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday. The ceremony will be held at Heritage Park and feature several speakers, including State Commander Val Obergon of the Alabama VFW and State Rep. Alan Baker.
