Many helped make ‘Celebrity Waiter’ dinner a success

First National Bank & Trust held their annual Celebrity Waiter dinner Monday, April 21, at David’s Catfish, to benefit the American Cancer Society Relay For Life.

Thank you to everyone for another successful First National Bank & Trust Celebrity Waiter dinner to benefit Atmore Area’s Relay For Life!
Thank you to the following:

• Everyone who purchased one of the 174 Celebrity Waiter tickets sold.

• Fifteen wonderful, devoted servers — Elliott Faircloth, Mayor Jim Staff, Shane Hadley, John Brantley, Brandon Smith, Dr. Zickeyeous Byrd, Laura Nisewonger, Natalie Rodgers, Nancy Williams, Haley Huskey, Malcolm “Bub” Gideons, Chris Singleton, Glen Davis, Leigh Ann Rowland, and Christopher Rowland.

• Area businesses that donated door prizes — Atmore Florist, Coley’s Petal and Parties, Country Charms, The Coffee House, Ultimate Fitness, Central Farm Supply, K-9 Cleaners, Buster’s, Jus Because, Sherry’s Elegant Flowers, Nancy’s Etc., James Helton and Audio Plus donated the grand prize— a 40-inch Samsung Flat Screen TV.

• Rob and Sheilo Faircloth, Elliot Faircloth, Julie, Latonya, Janie, and Katherine. This event could not be possible without their assistance, expertise and patience.

• Terrill and Renee Rigsby, Hannah Brogden, Zac Giger, and Greg Davis for cooking the crawfish and shrimp to perfection. I have received several compliments on how great the food was that night.

• The dedicated FNB&Trust team — Melanie Guy, Stephen Van Pelt, Jill Davis, Rachel Sanspree, Heather Dunn, Nychole Petty, Kendra Beachy, Sonya Ellis, Danna Janes, Peggy Phillips, Tracey Hodgen, Quay Fields, Becky Phillips, Sheila Donaldson, Kathy Holland, Stephanie Sasser, Carl Staples and Susan Tuthill. These guys worked so hard to make this event a success.

The 2014 FNB&Trust Celebrity Waiter dinner raised more than $9,000 and we’re still counting. Final numbers will be available within a few weeks.
