Mitchell Anthony “Mickey” Williams

Mr. Mitchell Anthony “Mickey” Williams, 57, of Bay Minette, recently entered the heavenly gates Friday, July 4, 2014, peacefully surrounded by his family at his parents’ residence.

He was a native of Bay Minette and had lived in Pensacola for many years. He attended Baldwin County High School and was a retired machine operator at Standard Furniture Manufacturer in Bay Minette. In his leisure, he enjoyed fishing.

Those that have gone on before him include a son, Torian Williams, and a sister, Brenda Williams.

Those left to cherish his life and loving memories include: two daughters, Laura Ann Williams of Pensacola, Fla. and Shard’a Williams of Bay Minette; three sons, Mitchell A. (Selena) Williams Jr. and Eddie Williams, all of Pensacola, Fla., and Mitchell Tyrell Williams of Bay Minette; his parents, Myrtis G. and Bessie P. Williams of Bay Minette; six sisters, Lela (Eugene) Butler of Detroit, Mich., Annell (Albert) Reese of Mobile, Lurneila Williams, Sharon (Pastor Danny) Stevens and Darlene (Ronald) Taylor, all of Bay Minette, and Denice (Larry) Brown of Ft. Leavenworth, Kan.; six brothers, Leonance (Juanita) Williams of Mobile, Myrtis (Victoria) Williams, Jr., Williard (Jackie) Williams, all of Bay Minette, Min. Lesley (Mauvelda) Williams of Stockton, Arnie (Nichelle) Williams of Wiggins, Miss., and JoNathan (Sheletta) Williams of Gonzales, La.; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 12, at The Potter’s House in Bay Minette with Pastor Lesley Williams, eulogist and Pastor Danny Stevens, gracious host. Inhumation will be in the Mutual Aid Cemetery.

His body will lie instate at church for one hour prior to the funeral service with Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC, directing.
