Ms. Elizabeth Brown-Hodges, 70, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Atmore (McCullough Community), died on Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Wilton Manor Nursing & Rehab Center in Ft. Lauderdale.

She was a native of Escambia County and a graduate of Escambia County Training School Class of 1962. Before relocating to Fort Lauderdale she had resided in Newark, N.J. She was a member of Miracle Outreach Ministry in Fort Lauderdale and she was an entrepreneur.

She is survived by a loving and devoted sister, Annie Brown, and a host of other family members.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 19, at the Longmire- Jones Memorial Chapel of Turner Funeral Chapel. Retirement of her remains will be in the Fairview Cemetery with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
