Dear Editor,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Library Partners of Atmore organization and the citizens of our community. Once again you have come forward and supported your library through the Library Partners membership drive.

Your contribution to this wonderful support organization has purchased books, computers, shelving, display stands, audio books and much, much more. One of its annual projects is sponsoring our children’s summer reading program. Not only did children throughout our area participate in this year’s program but also children in the Huxford Elementary summer program, Rachel Patterson Jumpstart program, and YMCA summer program. You can see how many children benefit from this program!

Also, thank you board members Sherry Digmon, Bess Maxwell, Magaline Marshall, Myrna Monroe, Julie Johnson, Rex Rose and Leigh Ann Rowland for the time and knowledge you contribute to improve the services of the Atmore Public Library.
