Parking change at NHS

Construction for a weight room is underway on the Northview High School campus, according to an NHS press release.

The anticipated date of completion is by homecoming, Oct. 3, 2014. If the weather cooperates, perhaps this date is possible.

For football games there is no reserved parking and there is no parking for vehicles with handicapped parking decals. We apologize for both of these inconveniences; however, those who come to the game will understand the logistics involved.

Anyone who parks in the faculty-staff-visitor parking will need to walk through the student parking area to the gate at the bottom of the hill behind the softball field. Walking along the breezeway is not an entrance. It is a “No Outlet.”

Anyone who parks in the regular baseball/football parking area will proceed to the game through the double gates adjacent to the baseball field. Ticket sellers and ticket takers will be stationed by the gates.

The Escambia County School District wants everyone to know that the campus is tobacco-free. Once on the school campus, everyone entering will be in a Tobacco Free School zone. There is a no smoking or use of tobacco products on the campus in any area. The district has signs located on various buildings and fences on the campus, to alert everyone.
